Lambert Environmental Services
St. Louis Lambert International Airport regularly contracts with firms as part of their annual Environmental Engineering Consulting project. CDI’s scope for these contracts included a review of the stormwater management facility plans, as well as hydrologic and hydraulic analysis of various stormwater management components including sewers, channels, and detention/retention facilities. CDI also assists with the coordination of the various entities regulating Lambert including the Environmental Protection Agency, Department of Natural Resources, and Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District.
CDI performed monthly SWPPP/SPCC (Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans/Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure) inspections and prepared Corrective Action Reports (CARs). CARs were then distributed to airport operations for routine maintenance, as well as to airport tenants with shared responsibilities under Lambert’s permits. CDI reviewed land disturbance permits and advised BMP installations, modifications, and replacements.
