The Expo at Forest Park
The Expo at Forest Park is a two-building mixed-use apartment complex located in the Skinker-DeBaliviere neighborhood of St. Louis. This transit-oriented development provides multi-family housing, retail space, and parking for the adjacent Metro-Link stop.
CDI provided professional civil engineering services including site paving, utility, drainage, and stormwater management design. To route utilities, CDI coordinated with numerous utility agencies that still hold access rights to the project area. Project challenges included addressing the site’s stormwater management, which ultimately required the design of underground detention basins to address both the north and south building flow rates.
